VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

All Peoples Relief is partnering with Acts of Mercy and Samaritan’s Purse to assist with ash-out operations in Los Angeles, CA, specifically for homeowners impacted by the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire. Volunteers will help recover personal property from the ashes and minister to those affected. 

All Peoples Relief will be serving at the Palisades Fire on these dates:

  • Saturday, March 29

  • Wednesday, April 2

  • Saturday, April 5

What to Expect:

Ash-out work involves coming alongside homeowners who have lost everything, sifting through the ashes to help recover cherished belongings, praying with families, and offering them the hope of Christ in their time of need. The work is physically demanding, but it is also deeply meaningful and an incredible opportunity to minister to those who are grieving.

Key Details for Your Team:

  • Training: No prior experience needed; training provided on-site

  • Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 14 years old

    • Ages 14-15 must serve with a parent/legal guardian

    • Ages 16-17 must serve with an adult chaperone (or as part of a youth group)

  • Maximum Team Size: 10 volunteers per team (teams consist of 2+ people)

  • Gear Provided: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Tyvek suits, N95 masks, gloves, and safety glasses

  • Dress Code: Volunteers must wear long pants and sturdy boots

  • Tools Provided: Volunteers may bring personal tool belts or small hand tools, but they are not required

Day Volunteers

  • Schedule: Sat 3/29, Wed 4/2, Sat 4/5 (departing APC at 5:15am)
    Choose a day that fits your schedule

  • Orientation: 7:30 AM daily at site (arrive 15 minutes early)

  • Meals & Gas: bring a sack lunch, water; you will be given $20 for dinner; the driver will be given $50 for gas.

  • Registration: Volunteers must sign up for specific days in advance
